I teach 8th grade English Language Arts at Stonecreek Jr. High. I have a B.A. in English with a specialization in Linguistics and a minor in Ancient Mediterranean History. I obtained my B.A. from California State University Bakersfield, and my credential from Point Loma Nazarene University. I became a teacher so that I can help students receive the joy of becoming a life-long learner, and embrace the strength that comes from becoming better readers and writers. I am, and have always been, a tech geek/lover/fan/stage 5 clinger. I am that person who will obsess over that cool new tool, website, or app. I'm that person who, if I didn't have to be teaching my students, would be in line waiting for that new tech to come out. And just so we're clear: Yes I love Disney. Yes I go to Disneyland as much as possible. The Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride. No I will not pick a favorite character.
